Its back to basics in this class.  Each action packed class is 3 hours long so you get the maximum sewing experience.  Christine teaches with patience, enthusiasm, encouragement and experience.  Our very own Sewing Bee Angeline Murphy was once one of her students!

We will cover the following:

WEEK 2 : How to hem a pair of trousers, a skirt or a pair of curtains.   How to fit a garment by taking it in/out, and introducing darts and pleats.

WEEK 3 : Sewing in a zip, buttons and buttonholes, so you can get in and out of things.

In addition to all the above, you will learn how to press with the iron and pick up essential hand sewing stitches that will save you in any wardrobe emergency or malfunction!

We do not cover sewing patterns or making garments in this class.

Please bring a notepad and a camera to class.

All machines are provided and there is 1 overlocker.  All machines are domestic.  You are welcome to bring your own machine if you prefer.
