This workshop is perfect for a summer Saturday afternoon get together. The location is in the relaxed homely ambience of Colour and Cloth filled with cushions, textiles and beanbags. There is room for 6 lovely souls who wish to make their dreams come true, or at least make a dreamcatcher to help this happen.
Lots of materials will be provided, some foraged from the local Ormeau Park. Some found. Some bought. You are encouraged to bring any materials, beads, ribbons that are personal to you to add to the dreamcatcher. Upcycled, recycled materials are all great to use
We will learn how to make Dream catcher webs by weaving, twisting and knotting, and also a very easy alternative! Its all up to you really.
No sewing skills are necessary as any techniques needed will be taught on the day.
If it is a sunny day, we can take a 5 minute walk to Ormeau Park and make our wishes there.
Tea, coffee and refreshments are provided and home baked cake.
*This event would not be suitable for under 5 years old due to small beads used. Please contact me for further details.
